PatientVille 2012

PatientVille 2012 is a joint exhibition at the E-health Week/World of Health IT conference, May 7th – 9th at the Bella Center in Copenhagen, Denmark.

PatientVille takes its name from the movie DogVille, that uses an extremely minimal, stage-like set. Like DogVille, PatientVille uses a minimal set-up with as few props as possible to tell its story.

The PatientVille exhibition tells the story of a patient who suffers from a cronical disease, and demonstrates how e-health supports coherence in the patient’s course of treatment.

The journey included a demonstration of care and how data is shared between the pre-hospital sector (ambulance), hospital, municipality, general practitioner, pharmacy, and the patient’s own home.

Did you miss the live demonstration, or do you want to re-visit PatientVille? On these pages you find photos from the patient journey and a movie that takes you to the guided tour.
